Wow that's almost impressively bad. Unless you mean you get bored or lose interest without cheating, rather than actually not being able to do it.

DA, but it's actually not that unusual? I have spectacularly bad hand-eye coordination, and video games will never be something I'm good at unless they're heavily based around puzzles or are meant for children.

They said they could only beat FF7 with savegame editors. Have you played FF7? Hand-eye coordination is completely irrelevant. It requires a really small amount of strategy and the ability to press buttons. That's about it

Shit, you could have no limbs and you could still beat it with your nose. You could have the intellect of an 8-year-old and still beat it. I know this because I beat it when I was 8.

Most of FF7's actual gameplay requires very little coordination, but if they're really spectacularly bad I could understand having trouble with some of the mandatory minigames/scripted event things.

I'm NOT uncoordinated and I still got frustrated at a few of those.

But you don't need to do well at any of those to progress, as I recall. I royally fucked up that march in the part where you're dressed as a Shinra soldier and it didn't seem to matter. I think I missed out on an item or something.

In the case of JRPGs, they probably just get bored and frustrated with grinding or random encounters.

That's why I accounted for that possibility in my original post.
