it's not like i want to push people into the wrong behavior or anything but all psps can be safely softmodded now. you could have played it for free if paying for it was really the bigger problem of moving on from a lp... when it comes to used games it's not exactly a point of the money going to the dev anymore so.

i've done that with many games and ended up becoming a big participant in fandom. once i was committed then i would put money into it. though ngl, most of the ones i love are expensive, rare rpgs with small fandoms lol.

idk personally i love gaming too much so even a tedious game would push me to finish it for that point, because it does color your experience when you watch someone else doing it. the emotive stuff may not hit you the same way, or you might associate bad jokes with stuff other people took seriously, etc. it should be your own experience that shapes how you view and participate in the fandom. a clean one. especially if you're doing fandom works. just my opinion.
