Very well said. It works the other way round, too, and it's different for everyone. I was raised in a not-very-religious Hindu household, and I haven't ever believed in God, and *I* had what I would call a questioning phase. In the end, obviously, I decided atheism made more sense to me than anything else. Questioning's better than being a fundamentalist.

tl;dr this happens to everyone, OP, and it's a human thing!
