Don't misunderstand me, I'm not going to judge him badly or negate what he is or has done, I'm just extremely sorry that the moment he put his foot in that fucked up place he had to change one of his most characteristic features. It's something many actors and actresses do, and I always feel like it's terrible that they should feel like deaging themselves up or having cosmetic surgery to change features that were ALREADY beautiful before.
Probably. :) I wouldn't have thought, from Sunshine, that Evans's frame could contain all that raw muscle though, LOL. He's still the cutest and most adorable man on earth.

So while it might not have been his idea, I hope it was, or that he at least wasn't opposed to the idea and likes the result. You never know unless the actor mentions it themselves.
I do think Hollywood is too harsh and has absurd standards, but I also don't think that's going to change anytime soon. People will do what they feel they have to in order to succeed.
If anything I think Sebastian would look more like he did in that play anon above mentioned. Which was a great look for him imo, but again, I don't think it's necessary. I can't imagine him getting much bigger than that, and I feel like Marvel are aware of how he looks and are probably smart enough to realize that trying to turn him into some bodybuilder wouldn't appeal to a lot of people. Maybe I have too much faith, but I don't feel like they would even want him that big. Steve is supposed to be taller and more buff than Bucky now! Maybe there will be a joke about it in Cap 3. (Like, Bucky got into the best shape of his life and became a legendary assassin and he still doesn't have Steve's biceps.)

It's the only time in my life that I've felt like I can't pinpoint a face, I admit this confuses me. I'm used to being extremely good at picking out familiar faces (or not) in any crowd and context, but the way he looks on these recent events is so different from other pics and vids of him I found of the past that I'm just... frustrated. I also must admit that he looked different once again in other pics I saw... it must have a cool case of rubbery face. He does change a lot depending on the hairstyle AND expression he pulls.
I'm now convincing myself that the pics I'm referring to when he looks terrible were possibly just a case of bad face and bad hair day combined with the new teeth and the whole package made him look completely different.
This whole thing is just me saying basically that I love his face no matter what because it's just such a cool weird face. :D No really, I adore this actor, seeing him in all these different roles after Winter Soldier has made me realize what a fantastic talented little man he is. <3
Re: Bucky and biceps, I think it would make sense for Bucky not to have big muscles because in Cap 1 he needs to me more stealthy than big. On WS it could make sense that he be more built because he's like a freight train in action. But hey, if they didn't need him to be enormous on Cap 2 than I suppose he won't need to be on Cap 3, the opposite even!
Oh man, I'm glad you talked me down this anxiety, LOL. I was afraid my new fav actor would disappear from my eyes at any moment and be replaced with a butch, bulky, big-neck guy much like Tom Hardy (my previous favorite) did... :D

I don't know which exact pictures you're referring to but that could be it. I feel like he HAS changed a decent bit, but most of it just seems like natural aging and maturity to me. People can look quite different as they age, and if you gain or lose weight that will change things, too. And he bulked up a bit for Winter Soldier, so maybe his features appeared harder and more solid because of that. Lots of things can contribute to your appearance.
He does have an unusual face. I say that in the best way possible; I think he looks worlds different than Evans and Hemsworth and the rest of the Marvel cast. Just as hot, but in a different way. And of course he's a good actor; as seen in Winter Soldier, he has tons of talent, even when he only has his eyes to work with.
Yea, I really don't think he would need to be bigger in Cap 3 because why would he need to be more fit than he was when he was worldclass assassin? Granted, I suppose Bucky could throw himself into working out to take his mind off his problems, and if he's anything like comic!Bucky he might go out and fight evil to redeem himself so he would need to be in good shape for that, but again, I don't think he needs to be any larger. He could be the same size and it would make perfect sense.
I like Tom Hardy! But the thing to remember is...these people are actors. Just because they bulk up for a role doesn't mean they're going to stay in that shape. They may even have to lose weight for other roles. Look at how different Hemsworth looks here (after he lost about 30 pounds for Rush). It's a big, big difference from his Thor self.

Oh god but that would be the coolest shit. Why do we have to wait 2 years to know, WHYYYY.
SS is a chameleon, but he has the 'misfortune' of looking TOO pretty so I suppose it's sometimes hard to see him that way. When I first looked at him I was expecting the vapid acting skills that go with too pretty features. Then I looked at him better and he's a lot more rounded than I first gave him credit for. And well, as the WS he's something else even if he doesn't talk, credit must be given to him in all forms for being SO cool in that movie.
