i don't understand your comment. op managed to avoid all other books called "[x] of kings" because their friends are into this one? that doesn't make sense.

I think anon means that OP came across this book because all their friends were into the series and presumably recced the book to them.

It is weird that they've never heard of any other books called "___ of Kings" though. Like, just off the top of my head, Return of the King from LOTR. That's a pretty well-known book, not to mention it's way closer to the name of the site than the book in the secret.
