He wasn't human. Period. He may have been genetically, but but morally? In state of mind? Fuck no, he wasn't.

I'm sorry, isn't it worse that someone that awful is perfectly human and possesses the capacity to show [fake?] positive emotions? As opposed to, like, a white walker (ie, not human)-- which is death personified but is indiscriminate about who it kills because it doesn't have a human moral compass*.

*Except, of course, Coldhands. But we don't know exactly why Coldhands is special.
