Wall art

(Anonymous) 2014-04-20 10:49 pm (UTC)(link)
Anyone else get bored easily of their wall art? I change my mind so often, it makes it impossible to buy anything decent. My new rental has super boring walls though, so need to put something up... Any suggestions of cheap and easy solutions?

Buy a cheap roll of paper and a selection of watercolours or acrylics and make your own? It really does not take a lot of artistic talent to make something colourful and interesting for your walls. Make collages or a conveniently placed doodle board or paint a sunset or make a poster for a band you like!

Get a cheap canvas frame and cover it with fabric, using a stapler. It's easy to buy new fabric when you want to change. You can make really big art this way pretty cheaply.

I buy local fabric when I go on holiday and turn them into art to remind me of good times.
