"ham" in the US can be hot or cold, and our family has definitely had it as the entree of big dinners before. what do you call pork that comes from the hind leg of a pig and is served warm and sliced thinly off the bone? (honestly curious)

Ham off the bone tends to be cold here, as I said. Gammon is hind leg, and can be served hot, but that doesn't have a bone in it.

Now I want gammon and mashed potato and raisin sauce :(
