Not the OP, but if you aware you're this shy and have trouble answering ask from strangers, please please, don't reblog those "feel free to message me!" posts.

I tend to take these seriously, and I'm really shy too, so I always struggle to send a message to someone I want to know, and then I feel really hurt when I and never get and answer.

It's not that they're strangers, specifically. It's not even all the time. Sometimes I can rattle off a dozen cheery replies right away, and sometimes I end up being too anxious to answer anything, even if it's from a friend. I don't know which one it'll be until I actually receive the messages.

Actually, this reminds me, I have some messages that need replies.
