Don't feel bad about not being able to sing like that, anon - belting is TERRIBLE for your voice and will eventually end up causing it serious damage. It's not something you should be striving for as a vocalist and I really hate that it's become popular because it's SO BAD for your voice. There are a lot of singers out there who are going to totally wreck their voices in a few years.

ntayrt, but ... not if they have any sort of proper training, they aren't. /vocal coach sick of this topic

Every single voice teacher I have had has warned against it, and I know a career singer (with proper training) who DID cause damage to his voice that way, so.
