Can't be certain at this point, but I think the first one I read all the way through by myself was 'One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish' by Dr. Seuss.

(To be fair, it was almost certainly read to me before that, but I have a hazy memory of going through it and reading it to my mom and being very proud of myself because I actually could sound out the words on the page properly.) I was probably five or so at the time.
