I confess I have no memory whatsoever of this character.

I hate to warn people away from that series, because everything else about it is great. It just keeps getting sidetracked so the FMC can lust over the MMC (who is seriously the same archetype as Edward Cullen, with most of the same behavioral patterns, just as an MIB instead of a vampire.)
