Yes I agree. Half of the sting that came from things like that is the fact that it's being done behind your back.

Like I remember some of the people who did it just used to laugh about the "butthurt" authors getting mad, but did they ever stop and consider the author's point of view that this mockery is being done behind their back. In that light it's not really so 'whiny' or 'bratty' when they get mad, now is it?

(to make it worse some people who did it could be REALLY nasty saying things like "the author is retarded and their mother should have aborted them. Not all of them were like this, I knew a few really good ones, even ones who gave critique I respected but, when anyone can start a comm to do this you're going to get some nasty ones.)
