Its probably a good thing I don't want kids because I'd probably give them some sort of ridiculous, old-fashioned name. Because I have an obsession with literary names. Anything from a book that I like the sound of. So any kid of mine would end up hating me.

Like, I really like Rowena as a girls name or Daenerys (which isn't even a real name) or Aurora. Natasha is probably the most normal girls name I like. And while I like James as a boys name, I also like Gabriel and Rupert and Neville. Also, if its a name in Lord of the RIngs I probably like it.

Vita like Vita Sackville-West. I just think that the V is really neat. It's short, but not too harsh. Aside from Vitamin jokes it has a nice meaning as well.

I like short simple names that are usually used as middle names: Lynn, Anne, Mary, etc.

I like lots of names.

One of the first things that comes to mind (someone mentioned Biblical names in the other thread): I'm fond of names like Zebulun and Naphtali. I'd probably never actually give those names to a kid, but I think they are really cool names.

For names in English that aren't either obsolete or made up, I like a ton and it would take too long to try to think of them all and narrow them down. I haven't actually thought too much about this, honestly.

I really like names from fiction though. WoT alone has a treasure trove of awesome names: Moiraine, Perrin, Pevara, Yukiri, Mazrim, Gaul, Tigraine, Lan, Roedran, etc. etc. Aside from that, Chell, Kanaya, Thane, and Garrus are also all extremely solid names imo.

I think Araminta or Nicole or both would be a nice name if I ever get to name a girl, and David and/or Edward for a boy. And for entirely unclear reasons, I like Winslow and Fletcher as last names.
