A good friend gave me the book to read and insisted it was the best thing ever. She's a librarian, I figured she knew what she was talking about? But, ah. No. I managed to finish it, but all I really remember was the thing about her using oil to bathe. The rest of it is lost in a haze.

I refuse to see the musical because I disliked the novel so much.

So you can sit with me, we'll pop popcorn, and drink RC Colas.

I stopped about 2/3 of the way through and asked myself why I was still reading it. I couldn't come up with a good answer so I stopped. I still remember all of it though.

If it makes you feel better, I actually like the musical. It's practically nothing like the book. The characters have the same names. That's about it.

YAY POPCORN! Seriously... now that you mention I'm going to go make popcorn.

That was back when I tried to finish every book, no matter what. I've outgrown that issue.

Hmm. I'm not sure that helps.

Popcorn makes most things better.

I used to have that problem. I no longer do.

Aw, sorry then.

Yes, yes it does. Because it's yummy.

I haven't for a few years or so now.

I may still give it a try, when the library gets the DVD.

It is. I kind of want to make snowballs now.

That;s good to hear.

It's on DVD? Huh. The more you know.

Snow...balls?

Yup! Unfortunately, I edit for some pro authors, so there are some books I'm required to read whether I want to or not.

No, I mean, when it does come out on DVD, and my library gets it. That's generally how I see movies now.

Snowballs!
