I found it invasive when my brother was up here, trying to load a dozen YouTube videos at once. I have a reason for this, I have a limited amount of data each month and often use it up myself, anything up to a week before the billing month is over.

I'd be concerned about letting anyone on my computer who would have no concern for wasting all my data and leaving me with a slow connection for half a month, all so they could watch a pile of YouTube.

I know, someone who says they're doing homework should not be watching YouTube, but it really depends on how much I trust them to actually do their homework, and not go hiding a bunch of heavy-data-using tabs behind something homework-worthy.

Youtube and homework is not incompatible. You don't have to have yt loaded for the visual, just for the audio part of things.

Yeah, but YouTube is incompatible with data limits. I try to watch it only sparingly as it is.

I'm just refuting that yt isn't homework worthy. Some people can't focus without background noise of some kind, and yt can help with that.
