7) I'm gonna have to agree to disagree with you on this one. Disney's Hercules made me weep for my broken Greek mythology.

YESSS.

Sometimes, I don't mind changes too much, if they make sense or if they mean the end product is good.

But when they made Hercules Hera's son... that's just like making a movie about Random Strong Guy. *rolls eyes*

See, I like the movie on its own (it also has great music)... you just sort of have to ignore the fact that it, uh, rapes the canon.

No, I wasn't fond of the changes in Hercules too. I actually enjoyed the movie as a kid, but then after I read the mythology, I was kinda annoyed.

But I have seen -and do know- people who love Disney's Hercules, hence why it was included in my secret.

Hercules is a great movie... as long as you just stop wanting it to have anything to do with the original myth.

Same for Tarzan, and Pocahontas, and Alice in Wonderland, and Robin Hood, and... you get the idea.

I cut my teeth on Greek myths. I was eight when I first watched Hercules and my first thought about the movie was "where are the other four muses?"

But I still loved the film. Fun, fun songs.
