I wish this song would go away altogether. Skeeviness aside, it's so freaking dull.

I think it's annoying. It has very little in the way of actual musical qualities, the beat is annoying, the vocals are annoying, and the song is skeevy. It's possibly my least favorite song ever - definitely in my top 5.

Oh thank you. When there was all that outrage about it I kept seeing people going "the lyrics are terrible but it's just so catchy" and I'd wonder if we were talking about the same song. Forget the lyrics, I just hated the sound of the thing.

Same, and it sounding awful while being catchy makes it me hate it so much more. Somone just mentions it and there it is, annoying me with the stupid melody and gross sounds.

I had read about this "problematic" song called "Blurred Lines" while skipping through tumblr but I never really registered that they were talking about this song. I heard it countless times on the radio and I kept thinking "Ugh, there's that annoying song again that bores me to tears every time it plays". I never bothered to listen to it properly. So I was a bit surprised when I actually listened to it one day and finally got that they were saying "Blurred Liiiiiines" all the time. It was like "Ohhh, so THAT is that song they keep whining about, okay whatever".
