OP here,

I was waiting for this to show up. It was only a matter of time. Tbh, the finale didn't bother me, outside of a few career choices. I didn't really ship anybody in the series when I was a kid. It kinda baffles me how much it still bothers people to this day.

The career choices are what I hate about it. I'd probably even be okay with everything else if SORA DIDN'T BECOME A FREAKING FASHION DESIGNER ARGH NO WHY

Yeah, but most people seemed bothered because their ship sank. Instead of more pressing matters, like Sora becoming a goddamn fashion designer. Why. All of my why.

WHEN DOES SHE EVER SHOW ANY INTEREST IN FASHION

NO ONE WHO WORE A HAT LIKE THAT EVER CARED ABOUT FASHION I CAN PROMISE YOU

hey now, that hat was adorable.

But seriously, fuck that. Just because she was a tomboy doesn't mean she couldn't be feminine. You don't have to make her a fuckibg fashion designer to show that though..

Was that last bit directed at me? I didn't say she wasn't/couldn't be feminine, yo. Just that she wasn't shown to have any interest in fashion.

No, that last bit was my frustration with the writers of the finale. My bad.

The hat comment on the other hand was directed at you. :p

SERIOUSLY, THAT MADE NO SENSE FOR HER! WTF WERE THEY THINKING?

Is that better or worse than Miyako --> Homemaker? I can't decide.

Word of God says that Miyako actually had another job, she was just on maternity leave at the time. I'm not sure if it was mentioned what that job was, though.

The Japanese creators said that? That seems like a weirdly specific answer. Makes me think they must have gotten backlash over he portrayal in the ending, but does that seem likely for Japan?
