I don't see what you're defining as "turning it around" in this video. Sure, a woman can be sexy on her own terms. But it's hilarious that this video plays into the exact same imagery as the original video and people are like OMG THIS IS SO MUCH BETTER.

I think it's more than just the imagery. It's that she's at the center and the guys are fawning on her, whereas it the original it was like the girls were throwing themselves at him.

Ah, I can kind of see that point. How it reads to me (being a female musician) is that all the guys are legitimate musicians that don't have to use sex to sell their talent.

I can see how you see it. But given the content of the song, and how they're around her and there's such a variety, it's probably meant to be that she can have any guy she wants and she's confident.
