There is a vast gulf between "I don't want to watch it" and "[objectively] shit animation."

Deeming something shit is, by definition a subjective thing, not an objective thing. So, it looks like you're having a conversation that nobody else here is. Because there's really not a vast gulf between "I don't want to watch this" and "This is (subjectively) shit." Because one is a result of the other.

There are technical standards in animation to which a piece may be compared. Perhaps you are unfamiliar with them.

Are the characters on-model? How fluid is the animation? If it's a low-budget show, how wisely has the budget been spent? How does the use of color palettes reflect the aesthetic concerns of particular scenes or the show as a whole? How well has music and foley been deployed? Does the voice direction and acting suit the characters?

Is is possible to judge each of these aspects objectively. Technical adeptness is not a matter of opinion, no matter how much you might wish it to be. None of the shows in the OP's secret feature production values that can be reasonably described as "shit," and to suggest that it's simply a matter of opinion belies nothing more than than the speaker's own ignorance on matters of technical execution.

Saying "This show is shit" is not the same as saying "The animation of this show is shit." The former is, yes, a matter of opinion. The latter is not, and it is the latter with which I take issue.

Do you feel better now that ignorant have been schooled, professor?
