Yeah, the last time I met someone I was so surprised at how calm I managed to be and not be all nervous. The first couple of times I'd meet famous people I got super nervous, now I'm just like "whatever, you're awesome."

I love it when you can talk to them about super casual stuff.

I always like to think that I'd be super-chill about it now but chances are I'd still be a huge awkward mess and make the situation far more embarrassing for myself than it should be.

I think it was easier the second time because he started off the conversation and I got to basically talk about dragons for a couple of minutes with him.

With Neil Gaiman, I went up with my sister, her boyfriend, and a friend of ours. The friend made a fool of himself (but he laughed about it too) and so all of us just sort of laughed along and it broke the tension.

I think it depends on how you approach them and what they are there for.
