Much less in a job where all of the discipline is left to them, no. Not having the option of sending anyone to the principal's office is an extra special level of kids knowing they're going to get away with everything if they have a teacher who can't handle them.

When I taught younger kids, this actually meant they'd try to hit me until I did something about it.
