So, what, people shouldn't be able to respond negatively to secrets because "it's a secret, so of course it's dumb"? That's some really strange logic, especially here at FS of all places.

It'd be one thing if someone was really mean or rude to the OP, but nobody really has been. Most of us have just politely asked why it makes the OP feel smug, which is a valid question -- and, again, quite typical procedure for FS.

You made a point of saying stuff like "What is it with all the replies on this" and "Not just talking to you - also to most of the other commenters on this thread". So yes, really.

(And come on, that one anonymous comment is hardly bad, by FS standards.)

Well, of the comments saying "this is dumb", two were rude and two were polite. And I guess I got the vibe of "why are you making this a secret, this is a dumb secret" moreso than "your feelings are dumb".

And "not bad by f!s standards" =/= polite.
