His father arranged that marriage. And you know full well I'm not talking about his first wife anyway.

No, he pushes for the marriage because he saw her, thought she was beautiful, and wanted to marry her. And regarding Dany, it was his entitled view after he got revealed as a former mole that got him exiled, not "love."

No, his father arranged his first marriage, and from what he said about it, it didn't sound like he was all that willing. She died after miscarrying and he admitted that they loved each other after a fashion. His second wife he saw at a tourney, he won a lot because he asked for her favor and she gave it, he crowned her the queen of love and beauty or some such nonsense, and when he asked her father for her hand, the father, to Jorah's utter shock, said okay. She went with Jorah and they had a fortnight of happiness before the real world asserted itself at Bear Island.

Unless there's something in the later books to dispute the above, he's not the creeper OP makes him out to be. He's just a sad man who made bad decisions.
