It was based on Andre Norton's novel, Dragon Magic. The art was gorgeous, but the story focused on Hutch throughout, and I think Starsky only appeared for about a page in an approximately 100-page zine.

Whaaaaaaaaaat. That sounds so boring. I mean, not that Hutch is boring, just that neither Starsky nor Hutch really work as characters if they're alone for too long.

Now you know why I sold it on eBay.

How much do zines usually go for? Does it vary a lot?

I don't know. I haven't bought any in literally decades. I sold mine for about what I paid for them, setting the initial bids around $10 - $15. I miss zines, really, but I still have some zines from Doctor Who, Blake's 7, Man from U.N.C.L.E., and Robin of Sherwood.
