I dyed my hair an awesome shade of red a couple days ago, and every time I look in the mirror I feel awesome. (It's not even quite the shade I was hoping for - I was going for a Kari Byron/Pepper Potts sort of red, and it's more Dana Scully, but I am not going to complain about Dana Scully!) Earlier I put my hair up for a bath (because I want to give it a few days before washing it again, it's already painfully dry) and a glance in the mirror over the sink made me think I looked like some kind of painting of a goddess. Considering my usual self-image, I get the feeling I was really meant to have bright red hair. (For that matter, at the risk of TMI, the drapes finally match the carpet.)

Also, getting email yesterday from coworker-slash-client for whom I've been doing some work, who was described by the coworker who used to do her tasks as "impossible to please" and "hard to work with" - and this person is playful with me, full of !!!! and "thank you sooooo much, you are the BEST!" Even gave me a nickname, which is sort of ridiculous, but clearly meant as a compliment, so I'll take it.
