(Anonymous) 2014-04-26 01:08 am (UTC)(link)Like others said, you never know when you'll run into that person again. They could be your next coworker at a new job, or heaven forbid, your new boss. Or they could be working at a place that has a vacancy you've had your eye on. I have no idea how this person bullied you, or how they truly viewed you as a person and coworker, but if you get on their case now, then it's possible THEY could have a hand in determining your future at a new XYZ company.
Take their shitty behavior as a lesson -- on how NOT to treat other coworkers, of course. Be glad you survived their hell. Taking the high road doesn't always have to be for the reason that "they're human too!" or "I'm better than them!" but because there's a time and place for everything, and tempting as it is, this may be one battle you don't want to pick.
