I was going to post a post-a-pic thread today since I've been planning on doing that for a while/talked to a few people about it. However, I have come to discover that I don't actually have any pictures of myself on this computer that I like, that aren't also on Facebook, and that don't include other people. Unfortunately the camera for this computer is shitty and grainy, despite the fact that it's a new comp and not all of my old pics have been transferred over yet. So I will post that thread sometime after I go home from finals.

Speaking of which, good luck to everyone who has finals this week or in the next couple of weeks!

Thank you for the luck because I am terrified ;_; I'm taking my AS exams week after next and I've never been so determined to perform in an examination before this. If I find myself unable to answer the papers, I don't think I'll ever speak to anyone ever again out of sheer embarrassment.

What are AS exams?

They're the exams for A-Levels. A-Levels is a pre-university course, and the exams are divided into AS and A2. I'm taking my AS in May and my A2 in October.

So basically, exams to get into university?

Sort of? Taking them doesn't automatically enter you into any universities, though. I think they're like exams you take at the end of high school and what level of university you qualify for is based on those grades.

That's kind of what I figured. We have the SATs and the ACTs and they do the same thing - your scores get submitted to any colleges you apply to, but the tests themselves don't do anything except generate that score.

thanks for the luck, i'm gonna need it D: i've got three exams left, but of course, they're the hardest and most time consuming. ugh. regardless of the outcome, i'm gonna take a looong break once it's over.

luckily I have a week and a half between semester finals and summer session, when I won't need to work or study or do anything. it's gonna rock. that's gonna be my real vacation this summer (I might take a trip with my dad in July but it won't be that long).

lucky! all my exams are in april, so it means i can't catch a break for the entire month. fortunately, once april's over i don't have to go back to uni until september, which is awesome.

well I have to jump right back in to summer session, but when that is done, I AM DONE WITH COLLEGE FOREVER, MUAHAHA
