Not that I really ship this, but I will forever be disappointed that Cap/Coulson didn't displace Clint/Coulson as a juggernaut ship because it makes SO MUCH MORE SENSE. Come on, if you wanna slash Coulson, it's right there.

Did you really expect it to, though? Coulson fans kind of got attached to him in Thor and the C/C pairing came with, and a lot of Steve fans only like him in the context of Steve/Tony. Plus, there's the fanboy angle, which weirds some people out.

I guess I just can't see it being anything but a fringe pairing. I have been wrong before, though.
