Almost Human.

I love police procedurals and buddy cops. I really love robots and human/robot friendships. And Dorian's adorable. It has everything going for it and I tried for five episodes and it just failed to grab me, which is a shame.

(I think maybe it glossed over the ethical dilemmas with AIs and human-like robots too much? I dunno, but if it had a storyline that really tackled those themes directly I might start watching again.)

I love all those things, too, but I noped out in the first episode when the human partner threw his sentient robot partner out of a moving car and everyone was like, "oh, haha, you card! Go get yourself a new robot!" D:

I kind of meant to go back and see if it got better later, but. . .As someone whose favorite character in the history of fiction is Data from Star Trek, that scene kind of put a black hole in my heart. :( :( :(
