Get the DC Encyclopedia. I've read most of the comics but it helps you keep track of how the characters and how their storylines interact. There's one for Marvel too. They're awesome.

Very late OP here, I totally got that encyclopedia for Christmas when my dad found out I was into comics. One of these days I'm gonna sit down and read the whole thing back to front I'm so excited. I'm glad someone else thinks it's awesome! Double incentive ayyy!!

Right? Like, it's weird to get excited about an encyclopedia but it's quite an interesting read. My friend is borrowing my Marvel one now.

Hell naw I love encyclopaedias. I used to read through a world encyclopaedia over and over as a kid. Learned absolutely nothing, in one ear and out the other etc., but so absorbing. They're great timekillers!

Very true. I wish I remembered important stuff as well as I remember this comic book trivia, though :p
