It's not a bad song because it's pop music instead of metal, it's bad because it's shitty pop music. Their music taste would not intrinsically be better if they were listening to metal

I may grudgingly admit that not all pop music is crap. But all Avril music is best classified as 'The Vengeance of an Angry God.'

Metal is the bestest. U wish ur bands were as good as Amon Amarth.

This is true. Avril Lavigne is pretty bad in ways that transcend genre. We can all come together and join hands united by the fact that Avril Lavigne kinda sucks.
