One of my RL friends is having a hard time with something, and posted about it on facebook without details. Both me and my mom have friended her, so about a half hour after RL Friend post her thing, Mom calls me and starts interrogating me like I should know every single thing that is going on. I have no clue! I don't know anymore than Mom does. I understand she's concerned I am too, but I'm not going to be the first person RL Friend comes to with distressing stuff, and I don't like to pry into things. Mom has known me my entire life obviously and has known RL Friend since I was in junior high, she should know what we're like by now, yet she always does this.

This is a less important aggravation, but I have several fics I really want to finish and it's just not happening. On top of that I keep getting ideas for other fics like a Bed and Breakfast AU. Is that even a thing? I know there are bakery AUs, but I've never heard of a Bed and Breakfast AU.

And finally We've has a lot of rain here, most of it has ended up in the crawlspace under my house. I finally got done draining it but I fully expect more water to be in there tomorrow, and we're supposed to get rain, and storms all freaking week. I hate this time of year.

There absolutely should be B&B AUs!! Holy crap, why has no one exploited the hell out of that???
*dances*

Sorry about your mom, that sucks.
And about the wet - we had crazy-wild storms here night before last, and it's overcast and chilly here today. Last year we had *floods* - hope we don't go there again.
Stay dry!

I might make them a thing then! Someone should make them a thing.

It's aggravating being expected to know everything, I think it's in part because my brother's friends came to my mom before they went to their own parents for a lot of stuff. She was the adult you could trust who would help you. My friends just weren't like that at all, for one thing we didn't get into even a fraction of the stupid crap my brother and his friends did. my friend and I also have incredibly crappy phone(I literally can't call anyone but my parents who live next door, and 911. She depends on a cellphone that hates working.), and vehicle(I've had a terrible phobia of driving for years that evolved from terrible dislike of driving. She has a car that hates working.) situations, and this doesn't seem like the kinda thing you'd want to discuss over facebook.

We had a storm too, but it didn't get really severe right over our area. I think other places not that far away had it a lot worse.

Ah ha ha. Nobody's kids confide in me, though my daughter's best friend does call me 'mom' and tells me she loves me. I never called anyone but my mom 'mom', but whatever makes her happy. She's a good kid.

Wow, that sucks to have the nonworking phones *and* the non-transportation thing, too, sheesh! At least you have the interwebz. :)

They got tornadoes south of us, pretty bad, and we got warnings but no actual tornadoes. The season is just starting, though, so....
