Do non-h/c Bucky/Steve fic exist? :D

I could unload a million bookmarks of awesome Bucky/Steve h/c fics, but then you would probably have to read them all in one sitting and your life would be ruined. I can't take responsibility for this. :P

I'm not sure. If you have recs of ones that actually go into what was done to Bucky and are realistic about the psychological effects that would be awesome. Most of the ones I've found tend to not go into as much detail and focus more on the comfort.

I've recced some stuff in a comment below, but trying to aim at philstar requests (more h less c)... I probably failed anyway, lol.

My favs are pretty heavy on both h and c, or completely DARK and HOPELESS as hell... I'm either a sap or a sadist when I read fic, no middle ground.

I tend to want a happy ending in my fics - dark and hopeless make me saaad.
But i'll dip in a toe. :)

Aw no, those I recced now are all with happy ending, or at least open ending. Not sad. :)

But I noticed I have some bleak stuff bookmarked, I'll keep those to make myself sad when I need it, I guess. I'm a rather weird individual.

Nah. I'd say about half of fandom likes a good angst-fest.
