One woman? Not surprised, but still a bit disappointed. But if she's the main character rather than one of the new men I'll be a little happier. Its just that with only one woman here and none of the two spin-offs mentioned so far being female-centric, we're back to the usual dude-centric stuff that seems to actually have gotten worse. I mean there was just Leia, but she was freaking awesome and take charge and perfect. And while I liked Padme she felt a bit like a step back a little. And now we have only one woman again.

Also, would it be too much to ask to get a female villain?

I've only heard of one or two of the new cast. But I'm sure they'll be great.

IDK, I've been hearing that she is supposed to be the lead in the triology.

Really?

now that would be interesting. i'm still very much on the fence about this new trilogy though, after getting burned by the prequels.
