Awesome fandom things!

Today I've sat on the Iron Throne and gazed across Westeros from atop of the Wall (using Oculus Rift). In other words the Game of Thrones exhibiton is in my city and it was awesome (Really recommend it if you're a fan and it's coming near you!)

So, have any of you done any awesome fandomy things or been to cool events lately? Or do you have something you're looking forward to?

i've seen a french presidential election candidate (who is also the mayor of my hometown) at a comics con. that's all i've got.

sometimes i fantasize about flying to nyc to knock on michael emerson's door and have tea with him, but then i realize that would be very creepy.
