i loved frankenstein as well. other than that, i didn't really like the other books you mentioned. i do recognize their literary merits and influence, though! (i just don't wanna read anymore jane austen)

i didn't even know 101 dalmatians was a book! i loved the disney movie, so i'll check it out.

I hate what the movie did. I'm not a purist but it was like Walt Disney made changes specifically to piss me off. One of my favorite characters was taken out of the story (and they stole her name that she loved and gave it to another character!) and another one of my favorite characters was changed from a female cat to a male cat and has a different personality.
