poe is a hell of a writer. i remember reading the tell-tale heart back when i was learning english and it completely blew my mind. quoth the raven is a poem that is very dear to me as well.

Over the years I think I read everything. I even read all the poetry and I remember one that scarred me, in a good way of course. I had to google the name because I always only remember the last part... it's The Haunted Palace (for some reason it made me think of The Dark Tower and because of that it was twice disturbing and awesome).

Quoth The Raven is an undying classic... creepiness at its best.
