Beta readers/editors?
(Anonymous) 2014-04-30 12:39 am (UTC)(link)But I don't know how you find beta readers and editors. I never had one before, when I used to write. I don't know where to look, or what to look for, or what the process is like, or what makes a good beta/editor.
Also, what about small fandoms or rare pairs or crack pairings? I assume you'd be able to find a beta easily for larger fandoms.
Help?
Re: Beta readers/editors?
Fanfiction.net actually have a list of beta readers by fandom. You can contact potential beta readers through the site.
I was pleasantly surprised to find two beta readers for my incredibly small and rare fandom - both of whom answered my PM!
I hope this helps, anon.
