See I dislike that. I like the job class to fit the character of the, well, character. Like it made sense that Zidane would be thief/fighter or Garnet/Dagger being a white mage/summoner or Vivi being a black mage. What they did was part of who they were. I want the gameplay and the storytelling to blend. I don't want to build a character as, say, a black mage but in cut scenes they have none of those abilities. If I build my character as black mage I expect the story to reflex that (a reason I like Dragon Age because it does try to reflex how you play in the story).
