Yeah but the art in the Thornberry thing sucks hairy goat balls.

This. It was a show about animals where the art was so bad that there was an episode where someone passed off a racehorse with fake antlers as a reindeer and nobody noticed until Eliza realized it had single-toed hooves.

Maybe that doesn't mean the art was bad. Maybe it just means everyone in-universe was really dumb. :P

Maybe it was both, because, compare the two posters. One is significantly more crap than the other, and the uncrap one is not the Thornberry one. The best you can say about Thornberry is that when they had to cut costs on animation, nobody noticed when it went off-model.
