tumblr and reddit would crash. the huffpost and buzzfeed would make an article on it and then crash as soon as peop;e start commenting. cracked would make a "5 mind-blowing shows that were cancelled by asshole executives" list just to make hannibal #1 (and then crash). the "bring back hannibal" facebook page would get thousands of likes. the hashtag #bringbackhannibal would be a world trending topic for months.

...that would be glorious.

All of that would be beyond glorious. I'd need a storage unit to store all of my popcorn. This just makes me want it even more now. I feel kinda bad, but your scenario is just so fantastic.
