Do come on. I know I can be an asshole too but I wouldn't wish even for Supernatural / Doctor Who / Sherlock to be cancelled. That would be too cruel.
And Hannibal is actually supposed to be kinda good.

Original anon wasn't wishing for Hannibal to be cancelled.* They were simply saying they'd love to see the fallout if it were.


* And even if they were, so what? Wishing for things doesn't work. It's silly to even imply this is causing any kind of harm, it's like worrying about the potential damage caused by unicorn attack.

I just find it strange that you're so willing to condemn someone as an asshole simply for admitting they'd find such a situation popcorn-worthy when it's almost certain you've done the same thing and are therefore a hypocrite.

Tbh I'd love for all these shows to be cancelled. Simultaneously. The shitstorm would be glorious.

Maybe this makes me an asshole, though I'm not sure why. Everything has to end sooner or later. I can understand the lack of closure being frustrating, though; maybe it would be cooler if all the long-runners with dropping ratings got a few episodes to wrap things up and then ended.

tumblr and reddit would crash. the huffpost and buzzfeed would make an article on it and then crash as soon as peop;e start commenting. cracked would make a "5 mind-blowing shows that were cancelled by asshole executives" list just to make hannibal #1 (and then crash). the "bring back hannibal" facebook page would get thousands of likes. the hashtag #bringbackhannibal would be a world trending topic for months.

...that would be glorious.

Fucking agreed. But I want it canceled because it's such a piece of shit compared to the books. And I FEAR the possibility of Clarice ever showing up. I hate what they did to Will and prefer my book!version and one movie!version to that...thing.

Wait. Did we read the same books? Hannibal the book is way crappier than the show. I don't think I can even list all of the ways that the show is better. (Although Red Dragon and Silence of the Lambs were better.)
