Yeah, I agree with this. A lot of fanart/comics I've seen involve turning the characters into caricatures, and while a lot of fanfic is OOC, it's never to that extent.

I have to admit I find a lot of this fanart amusing and cute, but I probably wouldn't tolerate it in fic.
