Re: Tea!
Four bags of cheap black tea, 1800mls to 2 litres of boiling water, one 2 litre jug, one 500ml measuring jug, five heaped spoons* of sugar, a 1/4 of a pinch of salt.
Put the sugar and salt in the small jug, pout in around 100 to 200 mls of water. Pour the rest of the water in the large jug, with the teabags. Stir the sugar until it dissolves. Let the teabags steep for 4-5 minutes. When the tea is nice and dark, remove the bags, add the sugar water and put in the freezer for an hour until cool.
Add... I don't know, I buy lemon juice in bottles and it takes around 4-5 short squirts for a whole jug, 2 & a half for a 700ml cup.
(* The spoon I use is a serving spoon a tad larger than a dessert spoon.)
I also happen to be very fond of Lipton Lemon Iced Tea, and Starbucks Shaken Iced Lemon tea made with a black tea base.
I like white tea but I don't buy it often. I dislike green tea mildly because it tastes raw, but I like it over other types of tea that are not Camellia sinensis because I am used to the Camellia sinensis taste.
I have in the past also drunk lemon tea hot, partially sweetened with eucalyptus lollies, because the eucalyptus steam helps clear sinuses in winter.
