Lol people don't shame fans of fifty shades because they may or may not have some rape fantasies. The reason why most people hate it (at least I hope so) is because is protrays BDSM horribly and actually involves rape and other sexist tropes which just gets shoved under the rug.
Anna gets used, insulted, and raped by Christan multiple times throughout the book and E.L. James kinda just shrugs her shoulders and doesn't give a crap, pushing it all under the BDSM banner because she's too lazy to do any reaserch.
Fifty shades gets shit on because it makes BDSM, women, and men look bad.

Also, the sex scenes just suck. They're kinda gross, unintentionally hilraious, and awkward. Like, I wouldn't be surprised if this was her first time writing sex scenes. Because it shows, lemme tell you.
