OP, you sound as if you thought having an affair with a BNF would somehow make you important. What a pathetic aspiration. No wonder you feel empty: you are empty, a little wisp of nothing, and you were empty before you had the affair and during the affair too. Now you're hoping desperately to be a little bit important again by creating some drama. I'm tempted to say go for it: both you and the person you helped to cheat will doubtless get what you deserve, and you won't enjoy it when you get it.
