If that ship was based on the Jesus Christ Superstar characters, it would be epic. I'm not sure there's enough interaction in the Bible itself for me to ship it biblically (pun intended).

Slightly random, but I always think of it whenever someone mentions Jesus and Pilate. Have you read The Master and Margarita by Bulgakov? A significant part of it is a disgraced Russian writer's manuscript retelling the New Testament from Pilate's POV. It's kind of fascinating.

The rest of the book, of course, is chaos and mayhem as the Devil and his troupe cheerfully take over Soviet Moscow for a while. Which is a different kind of fascinating again.

The ones I've seen ship Jesus with his father.

Judas or John sounds reasonable in comparison, and I can see either. There's the kiss/unexplained crazy strong jealousy for the former. And all that 'the one who Jesus loved' in the Bible for the latter.

I did see a documentary once where the possibility of a relationship between Jesus and Judas was explored. It was weird and their reasoning was full of holes, but people have seriously researched it.
