Being straight up hateful, refusing to have an open discussion/being dismissive with someone when they aren't being rude or unreasonable, or sudden change in interests.

Also I'm so picky about sj I'm interested in seeing, it's better just to say I don't want to see it at all.

I'm really glad that someone else is uncomfortable about people being rude in fandom. Everybody else seems to act as though it's funny when a BNF is rude to someone, but it honestly makes me feel really uneasy.
